Life isn’t just about what you achieve, it’s also what you inspire others to achieve.
It’s sad and unfortunate that our contemporary society, all too often, equates success with academic degrees, certifications, career titles, financial stability and acquisition of consumer goods. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing intrinsically wrong with these things and often they are necessary. However, they are focussed on the “self” and not on others.. While it is very important to work on your own personal development, there are many underlying intangibles within the realm of success that extend far beyond your individual success.
Average leaders raise the bar on themselves; good leaders raise the bar for others; great leaders inspire others to raise their own bar.
